Kaydee Kreations is a small, home-based business in the Great Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina. It is named for my husband, K.D., who brought me here to his family roots eight years ago.

Although born in New York, I did not have much trouble assimilating into mountain life (which I dearly love) and found myself involved in playing the hammered dulcimer, quilting, knitting, and sewing to my heart's content. I also became actively involved with herbal therapy and natural foods and incorporated this newly found knowledge into my cooking at home.

Having retired from the Fort Bragg School System as its Director of Exceptional Children, I was thrilled to be able at last to spend most of my time doing what I had been doing as hobbies since I was four years old ... sewing and knitting. Several friends insisted that I needed to sell my "wares" so I decided to start Kaydee Kreations.

Since I take great pride in my work, I do not want to market assembly line products. I much prefer to tailor my goods to the desires of each individual client. I hope you will be one of them and I look forward to meeting you soon!
